Qualificações

Caterpillar’s Resource Industries Electrification Solutions (RIES) team is developing key technologies to help our customers build a better, more sustainable world! Our products will help shape the future of electrified mine sites around the world.

As an Electrification Site Development Manager, you can play a pivotal role deploying electrification solutions to a strategic mine site in Brazil. You are the Caterpillar single point of contact for the mine site. You will work directly with the customer, our dealer and Caterpillar engineers to prepare the site, adapt Caterpillar electrification solutions to the site application and feed back critical information to aid in solution performance and enhancement.

In this role, you will be required to be physically present on customer’s site full time (Parauapebas – PA)

What you will do:

- Be the main interface from Caterpillar to the customer and dealer at site

- Manage communication flow between Caterpillar and the team at site

- Hand in hand with the customer, develop and govern a multiphase site implementation plan

- Facilitate site electrical infrastructure development (definition of what is required through to installation and commissioning of power at point of use)

- Ensure required dealer capability is in place

- Ensure site & operational readiness is in place (required local tooling & parts stock is in place, support customer risk assessments, operators trained,

- Oversee product assembly, installation & commissioning

- Manage product down response

- Monitor product performance, identify and communicate issues back to internal product support and engineering teams, and action product updates at site

Skills:

Technical Excellence: Experience with electrification, power systems or heavy equipment. Understanding of mining equipment and mine site operations.

Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Basic requirements:

- Engineering degree

- A minimum 5 -8 years of experience in mining

- Pre-advanced English

Top candidates will also have:

- Experience with high power electrical componentry

Additional Information:

- In this role, you will be required to be physically present on customer’s site full time (Parauapebas – PA)

- This position may require significant travel to the United States or other global mine sites as part of onboarding and training.
