WHS Coordinator will be responsible for partnering with a site operations team in 3PL FCs to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance with all applicable local and regional regulations. The WHS Coordinator will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risks in our processes, ensuring a safe and healthful working environment for associates inside operations.

You will instruct and train Operations Leaders in Amazon safety policies and assist the site teams in incorporating these standards. You will work to identify best practices and integrate them into our safety culture to promote continuous improvement.

WHS Coordinator Responsibilities:

1. Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with all applicable local regulations and Amazon safety policies.
2. Measure site performance against published safety requirements. Identify deficiencies and develop plans for corrective actions.
3. Deliver projects on time and with quality, supporting operational safety improvements.
4. Implement continuous improvement and WHSMS projects.
5. Analyze safety metrics and incident data to identify trends and prioritize resource allocation to high-risk areas.
6. Perform safety audits regularly to identify non-compliance and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
7. Audit record-keeping practices and database entries to ensure alignment with safety standards and regulations.
8. Audit workplace organization and associate behaviors to verify training and safety practices are effective and consistent.
9. Conduct incident investigations and report findings.

Qualifications include:

• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to a specified weight, stand/walk for long shifts, and perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching
• Work 40 hours/week with overtime as required
