Job Summary:

Caterpillar Global Mining seeks a Continuous Improvement Manager responsible for managing execution of improvement portfolios with Strategic Account customers, focusing on mining equipment application, operation, maintenance, logistics, and inventory support. You will collaborate with major customers, dealers, and internal teams to develop and manage complex, strategic projects that optimize operations and fulfill contractual commitments.

What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with customers, dealers, and internal teams to meet improvement objectives.
  • Identify business needs and barriers through collaboration with decision-makers.
  • Work with Account Managers to align improvement strategies with overall account goals.
  • Ensure contractual commitments are met through stakeholder alignment and project execution.
  • Provide expertise on equipment management, production optimization, safety, and application processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on continuous improvement processes, tools, and best practices.

What skills you will have:

  • Account Management and Customer Focus: Extensive experience in customer/dealer-facing roles, proficiency in equipment management, application, technology, and production optimization. Ability to create customized solutions and operate independently in customer environments.
  • Industry Knowledge and Decision Making: Deep understanding of the mining industry, trends, regulations, and decision-making tools. Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Effective Communications and Relationship Management: Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Value Selling: Knowledge of selling principles, emphasizing product and service value to meet customer needs.

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Pre-Advanced English proficiency

Preferred qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar products, policies, and procedures
