As an Application Specialist in Digital Printing, you will play a key role in supporting our customers by providing expertise in digital printing technologies, processes, and solutions. You will collaborate with clients, internal teams, and partners to ensure successful implementation and optimization of digital printing applications. Your technical knowledge will be essential in troubleshooting, conducting product demonstrations, and delivering training.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Support & Consultation:
2. Act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance with digital printing systems and applications.
3. Provide in-depth knowledge and consultation on digital printing products, technologies, and industry trends.
4. Assist clients in selecting and implementing the right digital printing solutions for their needs.
5. Technical Troubleshooting:
6. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to digital printing equipment, software, and workflows.
7. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to resolve complex problems and ensure the functionality of systems.
8. Product Demonstrations & Training:
9. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase digital printing capabilities and features to potential and existing customers.
10. Provide training and guidance to end-users on the operation and maintenance of digital printing equipment.
11. Project Management:
12. Manage the deployment of digital printing solutions, including installation, calibration, and integration with customer workflows.
13. Coordinate with sales, service, and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
14. Process Optimization:
15. Work with clients to analyze their printing processes and recommend improvements to maximize efficiency, quality, and performance.
16. Stay up to date on the latest digital printing technologies, software updates, and best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts, Printing Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
2. 3-5 years of experience in digital printing, print production, or a related technical field.
3. Strong knowledge of digital printing technologies (e.g., inkjet, laser, UV, etc.).
4. Proficient in color management, RIP software, and digital printing workflows.
5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
6. Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with prepress workflows and file preparation for digital printing.
2. Familiarity with color calibration tools and quality control methods.
3. Knowledge of different substrates and finishing processes used in digital printing.
