Your Role

In this lead role, you'll have jurisdiction over entire features. We're looking for someone who is an engineer in every sense of the word—someone who loves to code, has deep knowledge of systems architecture, fundamental computing principles, and excels at building products from the ground up.

About the Role

• As our user base continues to grow rapidly, you'll be part "city planner" and part firefighter, developing a deep understanding of crucial components of the product and designing scalable, sustainable solutions.
• You will take ideas from whiteboard to reality, architecting large features with complex requirements.
• You will manage your own stories and epics as an individual contributor, adding to the team's velocity.
• You will work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and data scientists to deliver powerful and accessible features.

• Extensive experience managing database architecture and engines.
• Proficiency in C# or Java, and Typescript/JavaScript.
• Experience with asynchronous programming, Agile practices, CI/CD, and refactoring.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and cloud deployment.
• Willingness to make strategic decisions and drive adoption.

Nice to Have

• Experience with .NET 5+, Entity Framework Core, ML model training, advanced statistics, and Shopify ecosystem.

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
