Job Purpose

To build and support our Anaplan environment in TMF’s Global Funds business. As a model builder, you will be responsible for implementing and scaling TMF’s Anaplan solution to Private Equity, Real Estate, and other Private Markets clients. The role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and delivering support to internal and external users.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work with our client servicing team to deliver high-quality end-to-end Anaplan solutions, including data integration and security governance, within expected timeframes and budgets.
2. Review client models and business processes.
3. Build customized Anaplan models.
4. Act as the lead model builder for new Anaplan development projects, with support from the overseeing manager.
5. Conceive and develop Proof of Concept models efficiently and translate/expand POC models into detailed blueprints (modules, lists, line items, calculations).
6. Develop inbound/outbound data feeds to and from the Anaplan model.
7. Develop end-user reporting and planning dashboards.
8. Deploy solutions to end-users and provide support/training.

Professional Experience and Qualifications

• Model Builder level 2 experience.
• Exposure to the Financial Services and Asset Management space, ideally within or consulting to Private Equity and Real Estate.
• Experience with Private Equity systems (Investran, Allvue, eFront); industry-leading Real Asset systems (Yardi) is preferable but not essential.
• Background in financial/multi-dimensional modeling.
• Ability to construct process models including data dictionaries and estimates.
• Ability to test business applications to ensure all client requirements are incorporated into the design.

Requirements

• University degree.
• At least 2 years’ experience of end-to-end model building with Anaplan.
• Ability to adopt a consultative approach by listening to client needs and crafting a shared vision for solutions.
• Experience with Cloudwork.
• Good presentation, client relationship, and communication skills—both internally and externally.
• High level of professional maturity, responsibility, and motivation.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Ability to work with a global team and independently.
