About the Role

In Central Operations, we work at scale across Latin America on key challenges and initiatives to deliver value and great experiences to our users (drivers, riders and suppliers).

Access to a vehicle is the major pain point for those drivers who need driving the most. This position is a good fit for innovative professionals with project management skills who are willing to impact the lives of thousands of driver-partners.

You will have the chance to work with teams across the company and external partners outside of Uber, while shaping, executing and delivering on existing programs and partnerships and kick-off new ones to support our progress to achieve our mobility goals in LatAm.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute strategic initiatives to improve vehicle access for driver-partners
• Drive growth and operational efficiencies by analyzing key business metrics and implementing scalable solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (including C-levels) to enhance existing programs and launch new initiatives, across LatAm
• Identify opportunities for process optimization in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Play a key role in regional strategy, influencing decisions that impact vehicle access across multiple countries

What You'll Need

• 10 years of proven experience in operational or strategy roles or top tier consulting
• Project management skills
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish or Portuguese
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen with ability to think through complex problems with tradeoffs and competing demands
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to coordinate across diverse teams
• Previous experience on Rentals, OEMs and Financiers is a plus
• Problem solving skills: develops new frameworks for complex problems where no standards exist today and engages other specialists for feedback and integrates it effectively
• Proven track record of data driven thinking on key strategic issues
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
