The courteous and prompt provision of operational support relating to assigned application systems. This includes mitigating customer impact of issues, initiating action to determine root causes, and implementing problem resolution.

About The Role

1. Work closely with other Business Systems Analysts, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Support, Tax Research, Customers and Prospects
2. Review and analyze existing integrations and business processes and develop approaches for improving or further leveraging these systems.
3. Provide deep SAP domain know-how and act as an SAP expert at Thomson Reuters for transaction tax solutions, coordinating with other functional areas within the ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Global Application Suite to ensure a comprehensive end-to-end Integration solution.
4. Perform detailed analysis of business integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, and FI) feasibility and support.
5. Configure SAP application settings (MM, SD, and FI).
6. Support product rollouts and implementations as domain expert and/or primary business interface.
7. Follow product deployment to ensure customer success, providing business and data integration expertise to customers, partners, and internal teams.
8. Assist in providing 2nd level support and training to Customer Support, Professional Services, and partners.
9. Analyze complex customer problems, assess impact scope, mitigate issues, and define/review/work on workarounds.
10. Must be available for shift work (USA CST) and on-call pager duty.

About you

1. Bachelor's in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent experience; formal education in accounting/finance is preferred.
2. Familiarity with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or S/4HANA Cloud G/L functionality.
3. Strong FI background, with experience in SD or MM modules.
4. Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP analysis, design, configuration, and implementation.
5. Participation in at least 2 full SAP implementation cycles, preferably including international/VAT deployments.
6. Proficiency in SAP condition techniques, pricing, and IMG configuration.
7. Strong analytical, design, and hands-on configuration skills.
8. Experience with SAP tax interface is highly desirable.
9. Experience in a software company and with other ERP systems is a plus.
10. Understanding of accounting fundamentals is beneficial.
11. Ability to read ABAP code and work with database tools like DbVisualizer is a plus.
12. Knowledge of Indirect Tax/VAT and experience with ONESOURCE Indirect Tax or Sabrix is advantageous.
13. Experience with US Sales and Use tax is a plus.
