Job Description

You will manage a team of material and supply planners within a category, ensuring that mid- to long-term production/material plans are in place for your assigned plants/lines in line with approved business plans.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Prepare short and long-term end-to-end supply chain plans for items produced internally and externally for review and approval
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team
  • Meet your KPIs, including exceeding customer fill rate, delivering finished goods inventories at or below target levels, and meeting waste reduction objectives
  • Collaborate with internal and external manufacturing, marketing, sales, materials, and replenishment functions to achieve category goals
  • Deliver performance against approved master and detailed schedules, long-range plans (including capacity considerations), and material requirement plans using system tools
  • Participate in supply review meetings and escalate issues as needed
  • Support and implement improvements in planning to enhance customer fill rate, inventory targets, and waste reduction to meet company KPIs

What you will bring

  • Comprehensive supply chain, economic, financial, or logistics experience with strong business acumen, ideally within an FMCG/CPG environment
  • Openness to learn new ways of working and proficiency in data and systems
  • Experience in driving supply reviews and participating in IBP cycles
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams, prioritize key initiatives, and improve plans
  • Ability to build effective teams
  • Knowledge of leading practice supply planning and end-to-end supply chain concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (verbal and written)

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of o9 solutions; experience with Kinaxis or OMP is required if not familiar with o9
  • Deep understanding of E2E planning from demand to supply, including cross-functional considerations like warehousing, transportation, and manufacturing
  • Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities through data analysis and performance monitoring
  • Capability to synthesize reports and data from multiple sources to determine optimal solutions
  • Advanced English proficiency for global communication
  • Intermediate Spanish proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the adoption level of planning tools and processes through user training and data management
  • Manage tool performance and resolve issues/escalations
  • Onboard and train teams on tool updates and upgrades
  • Maintain master data parameters such as BOD lanes, storage requirements, and shelf life
  • Support root cause analysis for complex tool issues
  • Manage planning report maintenance and support reporting teams
  • Lead projects for future system enhancements and updates
  • Implement process, data, and tool improvements based on regional or strategic needs
