Red House International School in São Paulo is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to support Head Teachers, prepare materials, and supervise students in class and on campus. You will help implement the curriculum and foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualificações

• Education: Attending or graduated in Pedagogy.
• Experience: Desirable 2 years of classroom experience.
• Experience: Early Childhood Education experience.
• Languages: Proficiency in English (C1 or higher).

Responsabilidades

• Provide support to Head Teachers in teaching classes and preparing content.
• Assist in distribution and collection of materials and classroom management.
• Participate in didactic-pedagogical projects and school initiatives.
• Maintain organized classrooms with necessary materials and displays.
• Monitor student safety and supervise activities during school hours.
• Record student activities and report to Head Teacher within deadlines.

Responsibilities and assignments

You must provide support to Head Teachers in teaching classes, preparing content and managing students in school environments:

• Provide support in the classes, sharing with the Head Teacher the guidance to students in the activities in order to enhance learning;
• Assist the Head Teacher in the distribution and collection of materials etc;
• Participate in the implementation of didactic-pedagogical projects by the school;
• Keep the classroom previously organized with the materials requested by the Head Teacher;
• Be responsible for decorating walls, doors, tables and bulletin boards around the school;
• Adapt activities for students with special educational needs;
• Ensure safety, constantly staying with students, in any activity, observing, guiding and interfering when necessary, to avoid possible accidents. Keeping this stance comprehensively to all school students;
• Receive students at the entrance and exit of the school, paying attention to safety standards and delivery only to the person in charge;
• Accompany students at meal times, ensuring that everyone eats well;
• Be responsible for managing the class in times of absence or temporary unavailability of the Head Teacher;
• Record student activities through videos and photos and send them to the Head Teacher, within the previously established deadline, without disturbing the dynamics of the room;
• Participate in Academic Meetings, educational conferences and development workshops in order to keep and improve professional competence;
• Attend school events open to families;
• Follow RED HOUSE general guidelines (Language Policy, Teachers' Handbook,Assessment Policy).

Requirements and qualifications

Education: Attending or graduated in Pedagogy

Experience:

• Desirable 2 years of classroom experience;
• Experience with Early Childhood Education

Languages: Proficiency in English (English level: C1 or higher)
