An innovative home and community-based program is seeking a dedicated Environmental Member Assistant to join their team. Qualificações

Environmental Member Assistant / Housekeeping

Full Time = Monday - Friday = Daylight

Senior LIFE is an innovative home and community based Medicare and Medicaid funded program which provides all-inclusive healthcare services and support to seniors living in the community. Senior LIFE makes it possible for seniors to remain at home, enjoying the comfort and reassurance of familiar surroundings while receiving the care they need. Senior LIFE staff live the mission of the program. Our team is committed to partnering with our seniors to remain at home through promoting open communication and shared decision making while providing excellent care and services.

The successful Member Assistant will be an independent worker, able to manage problems as they arise. Ongoing responsibilities include

  • General maintenance services, including repairing indoor and outdoor equipment
  • Bi-weekly checks and repairs of air purifiers, ice machines and showers
  • Monthly/quarterly checks of larger equipment, including HVAC filter belts, air curtains, kitchen vents and dryer traps
  • Ensuring fire safety equipment including alarms, exit signs/lights and fire extinguishers are functioning
  • Keeping floors, shower rooms, cupboards and beds clean and disinfected, with regular cleaning and repairs, as needed
  • Standard housekeeping duties, including cleaning bathrooms, laundry rooms, front desk, offices and therapy areas
  • Ensuring member linens are regularly laundered, repaired and replaced, as needed
  • Maintaining clean, sanitary and odor-free member activity areas and clinical spaces
  • Implementing a system to separate and clean soiled and contaminated linens


A positive, friendly attitude, ability to prioritize, strong organizational skills and a passion to help others is essential to this role. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED to be considered. Experience in a health care environment is preferred, but not required.
