About the Role
Responsible for managing a portfolio of clients to guide them on legal, administrative, and corporate activities for their companies. The role involves setting up and maintaining corporate and legal structures, generating revenue through value-based charging, promoting products and services, and growing the business through existing and prospective clients.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage client portfolios and advise on corporate services, including setup and administration of structures and governance.
- Analyze and interpret regulations, procedures, and documents related to legal and fiscal opportunities for clients.
- Expand business with existing clients and develop new business through referrals.
- Administer portfolios of companies, partnerships, and trusts in compliance with legislation.
- Oversee preparation of shareholder meeting minutes, proxies, and attendance lists.
- Coordinate tax, administration, and banking issues with the Client Accounting Department.
- Ensure client activities align with legal and economic frameworks, maintaining accurate and current client files.
- Monitor weekly productivity and chargeability, reviewing performance against targets.
- Record chargeable time and service value using Maconomy for timely invoicing.
- Sign correspondence according to authority lists and resolve payment issues.
- Adhere to 'Know Your Customer' rules and compliance frameworks.
- Follow internal procedures for data recording and maintain up-to-date policies in line with regulations.
- Act as a trusted advisor, maintaining long-term client relationships.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Business, Accounting, Tax, or related fields.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in corporate services or financial sectors with international exposure.
- Additional qualifications in company secretary or law are advantageous.
- Understanding of financial legislation and international requirements like CRS, FATCA, BEPS, GAAR, ESR.
- Strong commercial mindset, initiative, and target-driven attitude.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Independent, accountable, and capable of working in small and large team environments.
- Proven leadership skills and a desire to excel.
