Description:

In this role, you will serve as a supervisor for our camps & activities team. You will plan and oversee the delivery of all resort activities, staff training and daily supervision. You will ensure all activities are planned, organized and delivered, creating exceptional guest experiences. In this leadership position, you will be expected to problem solve and find solutions for both staff and guests. This is an outdoor position, and you will be expected to be outside daily.

Essential Functions:

1. Plan & deliver daily programs for our resort guests of all ages.
2. Lead by example and mentor the activities staff.
3. Oversee daily operations in the absence of the activities manager.
4. Conduct daily safety checks on all resort activity equipment.
5. Ensure all staff are following correct safety measures to create a safe environment for both resort guests and staff.
6. Possess extensive knowledge of activities, resort amenities, and third-party operations.
7. Provide ongoing communication between shifts, with the activities and camps manager, staff, and other resort departments.
8. Assist manager with scheduling, training, and supply inventory.
9. Accountable for daily maintenance of equipment, including tracking inventory of supplies.
10. Other duties as required.

Experience/Requirements:

1. Previous supervisory or lead experience.
2. Experience working with children aged 3 to 12 in an outdoor environment preferred.
3. Day camp/summer camp experience preferred.
4. Experience working in the tourism industry in a guest service role is helpful.
5. Water safety knowledge and basic first aid are helpful.
