SBM Management Custodian Job Description

SBM Management is seeking a dependable Custodian to join our team as we continue to grow. We value hardworking individuals committed to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. Candidates should possess strong customer service skills and the ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

1. Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting.
2. Maintain surface cleanliness such as dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass, mirrors, windows, and polishing metal and wood surfaces. Clean blinds and draperies.
3. Handle waste removal by emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to disposal areas.
4. Conduct light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and restocking supplies.

Qualifications

• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, and manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals, with a willingness to share knowledge with team members.
• Understanding of proper maintenance and care of cleaning equipment.
• No specific educational requirements; 3-6 months of training or experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Shift: Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm or 2:00pm-10:30pm

Compensation: $15.50-$16.50 per hour
