Job Description

You will manage a team of material and supply planners in a category, ensuring that mid- to long-term production/material plans are in place for your assigned plants/lines in line with approved business plans.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Prepare short and long-term end-to-end supply chain plans for items produced internally and externally for review and approval.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team.
  • Meet KPIs such as customer fill rate, finished goods inventories at or below target levels, and waste reduction.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, marketing, sales, materials, and replenishment functions to achieve category goals.
  • Deliver performance against master and detailed schedules, long-range plans, and material requirement plans using system tools.
  • Participate in supply review meetings and escalate issues as needed.
  • Support and implement planning improvements to enhance customer fill rate, inventory targets, and waste reduction.

What you will bring

A desire to advance your career along with the following experience and knowledge:

  • Comprehensive supply chain, economic, financial, or logistics experience with strong business acumen, preferably in FMCG/CPG.
  • Willingness to learn new methods and hands-on experience with data and systems.
  • Experience in supply review and IBP cycle participation.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and improve planning processes.
  • Leadership skills to build effective teams.
  • Knowledge of supply planning best practices and end-to-end supply chain concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with o9 solutions; familiarity with Kinaxis or OMP is also acceptable.
  • Deep understanding of E2E planning, including demand, supply, warehousing, transportation, and manufacturing considerations.
  • Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities through data analysis and performance monitoring.
  • Strong report and data analysis skills to develop business solutions.
  • Advanced English proficiency; intermediate Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the adoption and performance of the planning tool and process, including user training and data management.
  • Manage tool performance and resolve issues.
  • Onboard and train team members on system updates.
  • Maintain master data parameters such as BOD lanes, storage requirements, and shelf life.
  • Support root cause analysis for complex tool issues.
  • Maintain planning reports and support analytics teams.
  • Manage projects for system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Coordinate system updates and upgrades with the Global Planning Team.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support related projects.

No relocation support is available.
