What You'll Do
CURRENT BUSINESS
- Support current and prospective clients with group-level issues daily.
- Create and prepare client presentations for the Account Director.
- Complete and organize client paperwork related to renewals, benefit changes, and compliance reviews, saving documents on the shared drive.
- Track wellness participation monthly.
- Assist with open enrollment and meetings as needed.
- Follow up by assisting the data team with audits to verify correct rates and plans.
- Support the Account Director with proposals and enrollment preparations for key accounts.
- Understand industry issues and laws, including the Affordable Care Act.
- Learn about financial arrangements like fully insured, experience-rated, and self-funded plans.
- Adhere to formatting and presentation standards.
- Operate within guidelines to prevent errors and omissions.
- Ensure client plan information is accurately entered into Salesforce.
- Act as liaison between clients and the Customer Service team.
- Collaborate with Marketing on communications and update materials as needed.
- Facilitate EOS meetings, take minutes, and distribute documents in advance.
- Maintain notifications and track compliance needs for clients.
- Assist in compiling client information for compliance binders or guidebooks.
- Develop service calendars.
- Manage carrier setup and portal access.
- Support compliance activities related to 5500, 1095, Medicare Part D, and others.
NEW BUSINESS
- Support the Account Director with transition documents for new clients.
- Assist in preparing for open enrollment meetings for new clients.
Other Functions
- Create and organize files.
- Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality.
- Keep Outlook calendar updated.
- Maintain an organized workspace.
- Use conflict resolution and provide constructive feedback.
- Support other departments and projects as needed.
What You Need To Thrive In This Role
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field, or 4 years of industry experience.
- Insurance licenses (Life, Accidental & Health) within six months of employment.
- Understanding of insurance rating processes.
- Experience interpreting insurance reports.
- Knowledge of Health Savings Accounts.
- High energy and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Google Suite.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and carriers.

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year.
