Ascendon is expanding its teams in Londrina, Brazil. These teams are responsible for delivering new features for CSG’s cloud-based digital BSS Ascendon Platform. One exciting opportunity is for a Senior Software Development Engineer with product development experience to join our growing teams.

We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer who will:

• Continuously develop, test, and maintain software applications or systems, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Support the platform in customer-facing environments, including troubleshooting issues and monitoring the system.
• Optimize code and stay updated with emerging technologies.
• Work well within a team environment using Agile, Scrum, test automation, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of technical experience in general application development.
• Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies (Scrum).
• Solid programming ability in a major programming language – C# and .NET framework preferred.
• Experience building REST-based APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational database platforms and access patterns – PostgreSQL preferred.
• Experience with cloud computing infrastructure - AWS preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the telecom BSS business domain is a plus.
• Experience with billing, accounting, and revenue management systems is a plus.
