You will play a pivotal role in both developing innovative Data & Analytics products and enhancing existing solutions within our portfolio. Working collaboratively with other team members, you will develop new and maintain existing Data & Analytics products, taking full ownership of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) components.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain GCP-based Data & Analytics backend solutions, ensuring end-to-end ownership and robustness.
• Collaborate with architects, data ingestion specialists, scheduling teams, business analysts, and frontend developers, providing leadership and project management for GCP components.
• Operate in a DevOps mode, leading the implementation of best practices in cloud development, deployment, and maintenance, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure all cloud solutions meet security and compliance standards.
• Mentor junior developers, fostering growth and learning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to existing products.
• Stay updated with Mondelez standards and architecture guidance in cloud computing and GCP technologies.
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery.

What you will bring

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and cloud computing as a developer.
• Proficiency in GCP services, especially BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
• Expertise in BigQuery query optimization and backend data prep for visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Data processing experience using Python scripting.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data ingestion, with Talend being a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP/HANA as a data source and other data sources is advantageous.
• GCP certification is a plus.

Project Management

• Ability to estimate, plan, and document projects, including design documents.
• Proficiency with Jira and other collaboration tools.
• Proven ability to own and drive end-to-end projects.
• Effective collaboration with business stakeholders.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Analytical thinking capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.

Education / Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
