What you’ll be doing...
The Prime Named AE for Public Sector will be responsible for driving the sales journey. Our flagship innovation harnesses real-time data to reimagine the Customer 360, enabling businesses to create impactful customer interactions at scale. You will lead a team of Account Executives to drive complex, strategic transactions. Your mission is to develop a Destination Team characterized by its supportive and inclusive culture, operational excellence, teamwork, professional development, and consistent performance.
- Set and execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generate strong revenue and bookings growth annually.
- Set proper expectations and forecast your business accurately.
- Manage the sales process, establishing appropriate metrics for sales funnel management.
- Hold yourself and your team accountable to quota attainment, meeting and exceeding pipeline and sales goals.
- Build trusted relationships with key corporate teams including marketing, product development, strategic operations, and recruiting.
- Implement an effective operating model, ensuring internal processes are followed, and drive adoption of sales methodologies and tools.
- Coordinate with product, customer success, and services teams to deliver exceptional customer success.
- Stay informed about competitors, their products, and market issues.
- Leverage your extensive public sector experience to navigate and manage complex sales cycles within government and public organizations, ensuring compliance with regulations and procurement processes.
- Develop and execute strategies tailored to the needs of public sector clients, including government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profits.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the public sector, understanding their goals and how Salesforce solutions can help achieve them.
Who you are...
- 8+ years of experience as an Account Executive / Sales Manager with leadership experience.
- Extensive experience working with public sector clients, understanding their needs and navigating government procurement processes.
- Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals.
- A proven track record of building satisfied, loyal, and referenceable customers.
- Experience leading in a highly matrixed organization.
- Strong operational, analytical, and strategic abilities.
- Experience selling complex software solutions at the C-level, with a focus on revenue achievement.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales teams.
- Ability to develop strategies addressing the specific requirements of public sector entities.
