Application Engineer Role Description

Join the Application Engineering Team responsible for deploying Foretellix verification & validation (V&V) solutions to customers, helping them succeed in delivering next-generation ADAS/AV products. Our Application Engineers combine domain knowledge, software expertise, creativity, and customer engagement to maximize the impact of our solutions on product quality and safety.

Responsibilities

1. Deploy Foretellix solutions at customer sites, including tool installation, integration, training, and defining V&V strategies, both remotely and on-site.
2. Act as the primary liaison between customers and R&D, understanding V&V challenges and translating them into product requirements for improvement.
3. Work with sales teams to develop demos and presentations, and support customer evaluations.
4. Create application notes, methodology documents, and technical presentations as needed.

Requirements

• Knowledge in Software Engineering, including object-oriented programming, testing, and debugging.
• BSc or higher in Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related fields.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Team-oriented, resourceful, and professional.

Advantages

• Experience in ADAS/AV V&V, testing, and simulation.
• At least 3 years of industry experience, preferably in ADAS/AV domains.
• Experience in customer-facing engineering roles such as Field Application Engineering or Sales Engineering.
• Experience with ADAS/AV simulators like Carla, Sumo, Carmaker, Vires, etc.
• Previous employment with ADAS/AV companies or service providers.
• Experience as a Product Manager or Methodology Engineer.
• Knowledge of ADAS/AV verification techniques, including Specman, ‘e’ language, SystemVerilog UVM, Perspec PSS, and Coverage Driven Verification.
• Master’s degree or higher in relevant fields.
• Substantial experience in software engineering, including object-oriented programming.
