Qualificações

Job Description: Design Engineer at Dynamic Engineering Consultants

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct due diligence investigations and preliminary design and engineering analyses of retail, commercial, industrial, and residential site layouts.
  • Review municipal zoning and land development ordinances, as well as agency regulations, to identify land development limitations.
  • Prepare Site Investigation and Due Diligence Reports, including ordinance reviews, utility research, agency regulations, and site visits.
  • Create Conceptual Site Plans and preliminary Grading and Design Plans.
  • Design Stormwater Management and Conveyance Systems, Utility Systems, and Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Plans.
  • Estimate construction costs.
  • Coordinate projects with clients, consultants, and project teams for comprehensive site plan applications.
  • Prepare technical reports on drainage, sewer, and site investigations.
  • Communicate with outside agencies, clients, and contractors through written correspondence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Relevant internship experience preferred.
  • 0-4 years of experience in Civil Site Engineering, including residential, institutional, industrial, and/or commercial site design and permitting.
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a personal or company vehicle.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD for site plan drawings.
  • Knowledge of Truck and Turning & Modeling software.
  • Understanding of planning and zoning processes.
  • Knowledge of Hydrologic, Hydraulic, and Stormwater Design.
  • Design and drafting skills, including grading and drainage design.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies.
  • Familiarity with mapping websites for due diligence.
  • Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD Civil3D, Hydraflow, HydroCAD, PondPack, StormCAD, SSA, HEC-RAS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Bluebeam Revu or Adobe.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Independent, critical thinker, self-starter, able to work independently and in teams.
