Offer Description

This Post-Doctoral Fellowship opportunity is linked to the research project entitled “Studies on Contractual Arrangements in Hospitals for Optimizing Management and the Provision of Health Services”. The selected fellow will conduct research aimed at evaluating hospital management variables (Key Performance Indicators – KPIs) in institutions operating under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangements. This will enable both qualitative and quantitative analyses of hospital management reports. In addition, the fellow will define parameters for healthcare equipment production indicators and criteria for assessing the financial performance of hospitals.

Brazilian or international researchers who obtained their PhD less than seven years ago and are available for full-time dedication to the project are eligible to apply. Funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), the Post-Doctoral Fellowship has an initial duration of 12 months (extendable up to 24 months) and offers a monthly stipend of R$ 12,000.00, as well as the possibility of a research contingency fund equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship and Additional Benefits, according to FAPESP regulations: https://fapesp.br/en/postdoc .
