Execute physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses of low complexity for inspection and quality control of raw materials and finished products. Evaluate results and investigations of physical and/or chemical analyses of low complexity and process non-conformities. The minimum training requirements applicable to specific activities are defined in each employee's curriculum, managed through the LMS (Learning Management System).
In accordance with supervision and general guidance, all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations, and Johnson & Johnson corporate procedures and guidelines, this position is responsible for conducting quality assurance technical inspections and using the results to improve production processes and standards. Performs routine tests and analyses to ensure products meet established specifications. Conducts simple calculations and prepares documentation showing test results. Completes the recording of inspection, acceptance, rejection, and disposition results in registers or computer databases. Sends testing equipment for calibration and scheduled maintenance. Assists with specialized product/customer quality tests. Supports the implementation of reviews, corrections, and changes in equipment, procedures, and testing methods. Records defective products returned by customers to determine root causes of failure. Observes discussions with quality, engineering, and other relevant departments to learn about corrective actions for recurring issues.
