The Role

As a Senior Technical Solution Manager (Mainframe Storage) at Kyndryl, you'll develop, test, and maintain software controlling mainframe operating systems and hardware. You will troubleshoot complex issues, ensure system security, and collaborate on cutting-edge technology solutions. Your responsibilities include providing support for mainframe OS and DBDC subsystem programming, guiding technical objectives, conducting RCA discussions, and providing technical guidance to teams. You may also manage departments at a national or international level, defining objectives and managing resources.

Who You Are

You possess relevant experience in mainframe technical support and system programming, with knowledge of storage systems, z/OS, data structures, and related technologies. You have strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, C, C++), and experience with operating systems like Linux, UNIX, or z/OS. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience with NetView / SysView, FTP, SFTP, Axway CFT, Connect: Direct, VIPA, DVIPA, and GDPS environments is advantageous.
