As the Regional Product Marketing Manager for the Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS) readers, you will drive the definition, realization, and ongoing evolution for the reader portfolio. This includes developing strategy, product roadmaps, market requirements, pricing, product positioning, and launch success.

As our Regional Product Marketing Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:

  1. Implementing the product strategy for HID Global’s physical access control solutions (PACS) readers.
  2. Defining market requirements and business opportunity; owning the high-level product roadmap and being accountable for its execution.
  3. Acting as the voice of the customer (partner and end user) to product management, cloud services, and the rest of the organization.
  4. Collecting, analyzing, and reporting on needs and trends based on end user and channel surveys as well as competitive and industry analysis to provide input to the reader product roadmap.
  5. Educating the rest of the organization on reader products and being the center of competency for market knowledge, sizing, and customer profiles.
  6. Strategizing and defining decision criteria of prospects, channels, and end users to position HID readers against competition.
  7. Defining, implementing, and evolving pricing strategy for reader products.
  8. Developing product data suitable for product promotion through various channels.
  9. Developing and executing the implementation of successful new reader product launch programs with assets ready that define target markets, positioning, competitive analysis and comparison, collaterals, white papers, training, presentations, pricing, and promotion.
  10. Analyzing and understanding the longer-term market direction and influencing external analysts to adopt/value HID Global’s direction.
  11. Leading key relationships within the physical access control market in order to stay abreast of standards, policies, and technology adoption.
  12. Reviewing and reporting regularly on segment and geographical business performance including revenue, product mix, and margin trends and advising the organization on improvement implementations to drive both growth and profitability.
  13. Generating and implementing channel strategies with the sales and marketing organization, including pricing and discount strategies.

Your Experience and Background include:

  1. Minimum of bachelor’s degree in marketing or other relevant discipline.
  2. Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant work experience may also be considered.
  3. Minimum 5+ years product marketing or product management related positions.
  4. Proven ability to successfully launch products and services on a global basis.
  5. Strong expertise in the area of physical security; understanding of access control systems.
  6. Experience operating in a product development team using SAFe for Lean Enterprises methodology.
  7. Proven capability of cross-functional collaboration & ability to gain consensus.
  8. You are comfortable with, and able to manage constructively; change, ambiguity, debate, conflict, and informed risk-taking.
  9. Ability to effectively communicate in the English and Spanish language, both verbally and in writing.
