Work together with an Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer in the industrial and agricultural sectors to support the development and optimization of automated and autonomous control software using C in an embedded Linux-based environment, following Scrum methodology.

Responsibilities:

• Support and provide technical guidance to the team, coaching on technical topics, and ensuring tasks meet customer expectations as a team.
• Engage in technical discussions with stakeholders and customers.
• Develop software activities following corporate guidelines to ensure performance specifications are met.
• Design high-quality solutions supported by testing and verification methods.
• Create and maintain documentation.
• Discuss approaches, activities, risks, and issues proactively with customers and stakeholders.
• Develop software designs that cover software requirements and adhere to the architecture.
• Perform peer reviews to enhance implementation quality.
• Validate features early and redesign as needed.

Mandatory Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in automotive or similar industries with embedded software development.
• Advanced experience in Embedded Linux Controller Application development with Embedded C.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with ROS2 systems (Linux Jazzy/Humble).
• Basic to intermediate experience with Communication Protocols (J1939, CAN, CAN2B, CANFD).
• Knowledge or basic experience with MQTT, Ethernet.
• Experience with configuration and change management tools (e.g., Git, GitHub).
• Ability to translate system requirements into features.
• Solid background in embedded system architectures, microcontrollers, Embedded C/C++, compilers, and development environments.
• Advanced knowledge of software development processes.
• Experience with agile methodologies (SAFe).
• Customer-facing communication skills and being a team player.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on technical issues.
• Intercultural orientation and adaptability to change.
• Proactive, collaborative attitude, result-oriented, customer-centric.
• C1 level English proficiency.
• Ability to travel to the US.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge or basic experience with other programming languages (Python, C++).
• Experience with behavioral tree design.
• Experience with Gazebo simulation.
• Knowledge of safety processes (ISO 26262).
• Knowledge of security processes (ISO 21434).
• Requirements engineering expertise.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance, software release procedures, and capability models (ASPICE, CMMI).
• Experience working with diagnostics (UDS ISO 14229, SAE J1939).
