Our client is seeking a talented Software Engineer with expertise in MuleSoft to design, develop, and support integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This role will contribute to the creation of high-quality APIs, optimize existing integrations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and develop system and data integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
2. Build high-quality APIs and implement integration solutions following industry best practices.
3. Write unit tests and ensure adequate code coverage to validate business logic and system functionality.
4. Create and maintain technical documentation, including high-level design and implementation details.
5. Tune and enhance existing integration solutions to improve performance and reliability.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across various systems.
7. Participate in Agile ceremonies and actively contribute to DevOps and CI/CD practices.
8. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless solution delivery.
9. Participate in and lead peer code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
10. Stay up to date with evolving technologies, tools, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications and Experience

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 (Mule 4) is required.
3. 2+ years of hands-on experience developing MuleSoft applications.
4. 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on integration and middleware technologies.
5. Familiarity with Java or Python is a plus.
6. Experience with integration and messaging platforms such as JMS, Amazon SQS, or Azure Service Bus.
7. Proficiency in API-Led connectivity, batch processing, and enterprise integration patterns (EIPs).
8. Solid experience in building and consuming SOAP and RESTful web services.
9. Experience working in Agile teams and with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Azure DevOps.
10. Knowledge of MuleSoft connectors (Salesforce, HTTP, DB, SOAP, FTP, etc.) and connection strategies.
11. Understanding of security protocols such as SSL, Basic Auth, SAML, OAuth2, and experience with API gateways.
12. Knowledge of CloudHub 2.0 and Runtime Fabric (RTF), especially with Azure Kubernetes Service, is a plus.
13. Experience in building scalable solutions with exception handling and logging frameworks.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience with automation platforms like UI Path or Power Automate is a plus.
2. Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with distributed teams.
3. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
