Role Purpose Statement:

To manage the B2B Business (Bakery and Ingredients) in the specified location. The role involves close monitoring, distribution expansion, and infrastructure development to drive business growth in the area.

Main Accountabilities:
  1. Manage the current distribution network.
  2. Expand the distribution network by appointing sales personnel to cover uncovered Bakers.
  3. Drive bakery conversion by arranging trials.
  4. Expand the product range among Bakers purchasing Bakery Fats, Ingredients, & Margarines.
  5. Establish cold chain distribution for Whip topping products.
  6. Develop the market to achieve year-on-year growth over the next 3-5 years.
Impact/Dimensions:
  • Achieve targeted volume.
  • Supervise third-party employees.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Utilize SFA and DMS for automation.
  • Achieve annual volume targets quarterly/monthly.
  • Increase volume in Bakery and Ingredients compared to last year.
  • Reduce expiry stock to zero.
  • Maintain hygiene in SFA usage, increase customer visits, outlet additions, focus on SKU volume.
Major Opportunities and Decisions:
  • Handle rate fluctuations and control secondary sales.
  • Deploy and utilize the technical team effectively.
Management/Leadership:
  • Control secondary market & customer activities, monitor competition.
  • Possess good market knowledge and team management skills.
  • Basic baking knowledge, application of fats & ingredients.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Team player with good product and territory knowledge, strong communication skills.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and guide the team.
Key Relationships & Stakeholders:
  • Manage relationships with distributors, stockists, C&FA, logistics.
  • Communicate effectively with support functions, top management, marketing.
  • Ensure timely reporting.
Knowledge & Technical Competencies:
  • Knowledge of fats & ingredients.
  • Basic technical knowledge.
  • Support trials with Bakers, technical team involvement.
Education & Experience:
  • Graduate with technical application knowledge.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in fats & ingredients.
  • Proficiency in local language and Hindi; good English skills.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
