Offer Description

Post-doctoral opening at the University of São Paulo's Institute of Mathematics and Statistics (IME-USP) in Brazil. The candidate must have a PhD in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. The PhD should have been completed less than seven years prior to the start of the fellowship. A solid background in nonlinear optimization is required.

The fellowship includes a monthly stipend of R$ 12,000.00 (approximately USD 2,150) funded by FAPESP, along with a research contingency fund of 10% of the annual fellowship amount. Additional support may cover transportation costs and a relocation allowance within São Paulo, subject to approval.
