Position Overview

The District Service Manager is responsible for managing the daily activities of business, technical and operations’ support teams, setting priorities for the team to ensure task completion and making decisions that are guided by policies.

This position reports to the Regional Service Manager as part of the Services team located in Brazil, and will be fully remote with occasional traveling to visit clients.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Have formal supervisory responsibilities to coordinate resources and set daily priorities to meet operational objectives.
  2. Use judgment to help the team in identifying, troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day technical and operational problems from our clients.
  3. Guided by policies and procedures, impact the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team and its contribution to the department.
  4. Responsible for meeting/exceeding business objectives (Revenue/Orders/Margin/OP) for the assigned territory.

Minimum Requirements

The essential requirements of the job include:

  1. Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or related areas.
  2. 3 years of leadership experience managing projects, groups and/or teams.
  3. Customer support and relationship management skills.
  4. A track record working with field service or customer support in companies in life sciences markets (medical devices, lab equipment etc.).
  5. Advanced/fluent English level.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

· Able to travel approximately 5-10 days of the month within Brazil.
· Driver's license is needed (a vehicle will be provided by the company).

Preferred Qualifications

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  1. Prior experience using and/or servicing mass spectrometry or related scientific instruments, Oracle and SFDC.
