The Wasserstrom Company is the leading Food Service Distributor in the nation. Established in 1902, we are a family-owned company with our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. We currently have an Operations Manager at our Distribution Center in Bethlehem, PA. This is a key leadership role in our distribution network. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development and implementation of operational procedures to streamline incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Prioritize the safety of our team members by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and maintaining impeccable standards of sanitation, maintenance, and security.
- Take ownership of our warehouse's financial performance, managing the P&L and implementing initiatives to optimize costs and drive profitability.
- Foster a spirit of collaboration and innovation by regularly engaging with the Operations team to strategize and implement breakthrough operational improvements.
- Champion a culture of learning and development by spearheading training programs that empower our associates and drive business results.
Requirements- 4 years of experience successfully leading a distribution center.
- BS/BA with a strong preference in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.
- Lean Six Sigma training/certification preferred, including Black/Green belt.
- Strong experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
- Strong experience in Excel.
- Experience implementing pay-for-performance and labor management systems.
- Demonstrated leadership success in implementing continuous improvements and fostering a positive work environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in leveraging data to drive business results.
- Experience in a variety of racking and diverse slotting methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Pick Mods, Put Walls, Pick to Light Systems, and Robotics.
- Utilization of conveyors to increase efficiency.
- Strong project management and Continuous Improvement experience.
- Successful management of P&L responsibility with proven results.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to a variety of audiences.
