We are looking for a Foundry Operations Director to join our Sorocaba Foundry team in the Consumables business area. In this role, you will lead the foundry operation to deliver safe, reliable, cost-efficient, and high-quality wear parts and components that support Metso’s business and customers. You will report to the VP, Foundry Operations, and the role location is Sorocaba, Brazil, with an onsite working model.
You will lead the Sorocaba Foundry team, which is responsible for manufacturing operations and the supply of wear parts and components. The team plays a critical role in ensuring operational excellence across production, production engineering, planning, purchasing, quality assurance and quality control, safety, and sustainability. The team collaborates closely with Sales, Sales, Operations and Inventory Planning (SIOP), Order Management, Procurement, and other key stakeholders to support business performance and customer needs. Team members are based in Brazil.
