**Note that Ball is specifically looking for candidates with experience in the can industry, whether from can manufacturing itself or from companies that produce machinery for cans.

Primary Purpose of this Position:

Responsible for leading team to optimize current processes and performance for existing plant technology, directing common and standard processes that are industry leading and best-in-class.

What will you be responsible for?

• Set Manufacturing Plant’s processes capabilities. Drive its implementation and monitor appropriate controls to assure correct deployment and application. Drive critical to process and critical to quality controls to maximize Plant’s efficiency and best level of operation.
• Direct and support Plant, Engineering and Processes resources.Provide technical support to improve Plant’s operational performance and technical guidance.
• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among engineering teams to drive continuous improvement in processes, KPI performance tracking and follow-up, Line control and Plant Simulation across the Plants, Data performance report to drive operational excellence, IMS for documents control/SOP`s update and knowledge transfer.

Lead Technical Teams:

• Take charge of technical teams, driving the efficient implementation of optimized and new processes.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the technical teams to stay ahead of industry trends.

Management and Support in Projects and Capabilities :

• Prepare comprehensive and accurate capital general ops cost estimates for the operating plan, prioritizing according to the budget.
• Management of Ops project for new capabilities, maintenance, products, new processes, performance increase and etc.
• Collaborate with the capital projects team to establish a seamless interface, clarifying roles and responsibilities to avoid duplication of efforts.
• Best Practice, Share and implement Best Practice across the plants aligned with Global strategy/program.
• Train Operational Teams Executing training program aligned with Global Training Strategy and maintenance plan/execution.
• Spare parts management, optimizing the level of service, inventory reduction aligned with Global Strategy.

What are we looking for?

• Completed bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Availability to be based in Jacareí/SP or Pouso Alegre/MG.
• Experiencein process optimization and productivity management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and relationship management with suppliers and internal teams.
• Excellent project management and budgetary control skills.
• Lean manufacturing principles, 5S deployment/sustainability, WCM Strategy experience
• Knowledge of Capital Project Development, Cost Estimation and Project Management.
