A Day in the Life

The Director, PMO & Process Improvement COE, is responsible for executing the RLM LatAm 3-year Strategic Plan. This role champions operational excellence, oversees cross-functional strategic initiatives, and ensures high standards of process discipline, governance, and results delivery.

Responsibilities include:

  1. PMO Leadership: Develop and oversee the PMO framework, standardize methodologies, manage strategic projects, and establish governance routines.
  2. Process Improvement Leadership: Build and lead a Process Improvement COE, evaluate and re-engineer business processes, establish metrics, and lead root cause analyses.
  3. Strategic Alignment & Execution: Serve as a strategic partner to leadership, ensure coordination and prioritization of initiatives.
  4. Talent Development and Leadership: Build and develop high-performing teams, develop succession pipelines.
  5. Innovation, Communication, and Change Management: Foster a culture of innovation, serve as the spokesperson, lead change management efforts.

The role also includes managing a department, developing organizational strategy, driving innovation, and influencing stakeholders at various levels. The ideal candidate has broad management and leadership knowledge, extensive experience in process improvement and operational excellence, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years managing large cross-functional teams.
  • Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt), PMP or PgMP certifications preferred.
