Title and Summary

Director, Product Sales – Open Finance Brazil Overview

The Open Finance team is looking for a talented Director, Product Sales to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

Your primary objective will be to cultivate strong relationships with our partners to accelerate profitable revenue growth. To achieve this, you will work closely with Mastercard’s internal customer account management and services teams to architect, price, negotiate, contract, build out, and implement innovative financial services offerings across various Open Banking use cases. A key success factor will be leveraging deep client relationships and capabilities across the broader Mastercard business, integrating Open Banking services into the overall account plans that address our clients’ most pressing strategies.

Role

  1. Develop and execute segment-level go-to-market strategy for Mastercard Open Finance services.
  2. Build strong internal relationships and communication channels within the local market sales, business development, and product teams.
  3. Align with the Global Open Finance teams and the broader Mastercard organization to ensure a collaborative, unified, and responsive interface to partner relationships.
  4. Analyze client needs, conduct research, develop solutions, and devise tactical plans to pursue business opportunities.
  5. Manage the entire sales cycle from opportunity identification through pursuit, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
  6. Integrate Open Finance priorities and opportunities within the broader Mastercard strategic account planning framework.
  7. Build and manage a robust pipeline by identifying and selling to prospects.
  8. Successfully close new business through consultative and relationship-based selling.
  9. Achieve and exceed assigned quotas.
  10. Capture and share client feedback with Open Finance stakeholders to enhance product and technology management processes.
  11. Stay updated on industry and technology landscape to serve as a trusted advisor to prospects, customers, and internal stakeholders.

All About You

  • Agility and desire to demonstrate depth and breadth of knowledge and skills daily.
  • High level of partner/client management experience, including in sales/business development roles.
  • Partner-driven with a proven track record of success through complex relationships and multi-tier distribution channels.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging C-level executives.
  • Solid understanding of top Open Finance use cases such as payments, identity, onboarding, and lending.
  • Strong working knowledge of technology, including APIs, cloud infrastructure, microservices, and SLAs.
  • Self-driven, proactive, motivated, and results-oriented.
