Job Description Summary:
Great marketing begins with human insights, understanding what the consumer wants, and telling the brand's story in a relatable way. As a Media Consultant, you’ll help drive these initiatives by creating a strategic plan across all our Owned, Earned, Shared, and Paid media. This role is responsible for leading a team in partnership with brand marketers, creative partners, public relations, customer teams, and bottling partners, to determine how to best invest brands' direct marketing expense (DME) to build best-in-class consumer connections.
What You’ll Do for Us
- Manage and lead a team on tactical and operational plans executing organizational strategy in alignment with organizational objectives, recommending operational strategies and plans with direct impact on results.
- Lead negotiations in paid media investments across national and local media (TV, Print, OOH, Radio, Digital, etc.) and customer media (In-store, PRN), social, and search efforts with media agencies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Brand, IMC, and Customer teams to deliver integrated communications programs.
- Activate programs with external media agencies and vendors, serving as the day-to-day contact for questions and deliverables.
- Assess program results, provide post-program reviews to capture learnings, and incorporate them into future work.
- Understand program impact across the full path-to-purchase, considering shopper/consumer/bottler in planning.
- Leverage media tools (analytics, MMM, audience data, research, IMC Tracking, competitive reporting) to measure impressions, expressions, conversations, actions, transactions, and advocacy.
- Communicate effectively to influence the integrated marketing plan for optimal outcomes.
- Coordinate research efforts with internal and external partners to measure ROI across revenue, brand equity, and shopper engagement.
- Identify external partners (agencies, content companies, suppliers) for optimal execution and deals.
- Innovate to create differentiated programs that inspire consumers to choose The Coca-Cola Company.
- Manage execution and delivery of multiple programs to meet targets, optimize efficiency, and stay within budget.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Media, or Connections Planning/Technology
- Experience in strategy development, media planning, and buying online and offline
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of media math concepts
- Advanced knowledge of digital display, mobile, video, programmatic, CTV/OTT, etc.
- Working knowledge of paid search and social media
- Basic understanding of marketing and advertising principles, media concepts, creative, and budget requirements
- Detail-oriented with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize, collaborate, and work under pressure
- Strong communication, project, and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
