What you’ll do

As a DevOps Engineer in LX Language Technology, you will have a variety of responsibilities that focus on helping to administer and support tools and infrastructure.

Here are the key areas you will be involved in:

  • Platform reliability and operations
    • Build, operate, and continuously improve Kubernetes-based platforms, CI/CD workflows, delivery automation, GitOps operations and supporting services with a focus on resiliency.
    • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code for consistent, auditable, and reusable environments.
  • Incident and change management
    • Participate in incident response, RCA’s, and Post-mortems to reduce MTTD/MTTR and prevent recurrence.
  • Observability, performance, and security
    • Design and maintain dashboards, alerts, and tracing using the observability toolset to ensure end-to-end visibility.
  • Consulting, enablement, and documentation
    • Partner with product and engineering teams to provide guidance, troubleshoot issues, and improve developer experience.
    • Create and maintain high-quality runbooks, architecture docs, and operational playbooks to scale knowledge across the team.
    • Stay current with evolving DevOps, SRE, and cloud-native best practices; evaluate new tooling that improves reliability and delivery speed.
What you bring
  • Solid hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering roles supporting production workloads.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
  • Strong proficiency with Kubernetes operations and containerized applications.
  • Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code skills with Terraform.
  • Competence in scripting/automation to reduce toil and codify operational tasks.
  • Observability mindset with experience defining SLOs/SLIs and implementing actionable monitoring/alerting.
  • Experience participating in incident response, conducting blameless postmortems, and driving reliability improvements.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, analytical with a continuous learning mindset.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Istio or other service mesh expertise (traffic management, mTLS, zero‑trust patterns).
  • Security and compliance experience (image scanning, SBOMs, secret management, IAM, network policies).
  • Performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization in cloud-native environments.
  • Experience migrating on‑premise workloads to cloud or modernizing legacy systems to Kubernetes.
