Job summary

WatchGuard is seeking a Developer Platform Engineer in São Paulo to design, build, and maintain scalable platforms enabling developers to ship software quickly and securely.

You will own CI/CD workflows across multi-cloud, automate infrastructure with CloudFormation, Terraform, and Bicep, and contribute to container platforms and networking solutions for scalable, secure deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience applying software engineering best practices across the full SDLC.
• Proficiency in Python, Groovy, or Go.
• Strong background in cloud, IaC, and DevOps fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure foundational platforms for developers.
• Design and optimize CI/CD workflows across multi-cloud environments.

You bring proven experience applying software engineering best practices throughout the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, security, source control management, build processes, automated testing, deployment, monitoring, chaos engineering, and self-healing operations. You are familiar with technologies and tools such as AWS, Azure, CloudFormation, Terraform, New Relic, Lambda, Serverless, Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, and Jira.
