You are a customer-focused, data-driven developer with a passion for delivering the best customer experience. You have an understanding of cloud technologies, automation, everything-as-code, networking, microservice architectures, object-oriented design, DevOps cultures, and proficiency in Python, Groovy, or Go, with a desire to learn more.

You possess proven knowledge of software engineering best practices across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, security, source control management, build processes, automated testing, deployment, monitoring, chaos engineering, and automated self-healing operations. You are familiar with tools and technologies like AWS, Azure, CloudFormation, Terraform, New Relic, Lambda, Serverless, Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, Jira, etc.

As a member of the Developer Platform (DevPlat) team at WatchGuard, you will:

1. Own and manage CI/CD pipelines in multi-cloud environments, along with developer tools such as GHES, Artifactory, Jenkins, Graylog, service discovery tools, and cloud infrastructure in AWS/Azure.
2. Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure foundational systems to enable developers to deliver high-quality software efficiently.
3. Manage CI/CD workflows, ensuring fast, reliable, and secure builds, tests, and deployments.
4. Automate and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and Bicep.
5. Build and maintain internal developer tools to enhance efficiency and security.

A typical day may involve creating or enhancing CI/CD pipelines, developing internal tools, championing security and operational best practices, and sharing knowledge through documentation, presentations, and guidance to other teams.
