Understanding of ERDs (Entity Relationship Diagrams).

Experience in methodology-based solution delivery and managing customers’ expectations.

Problem solving skills and ability to recognize long-term solutions across multiple projects.

Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.

Self-starter, capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Detailed knowledge of several of the following technologies:

• Tomcat configuration and optimization
• SOAP / XML and messaging software like MQ Series, Tibco, MSMQ, Sonic MQ, and Open JMS
• In-depth knowledge of one of the following RDBMS: Oracle, MS SQL Server, or Sybase
• Java or C# programming
• Windows and Unix (Solaris and Linux)
• Knowledge of ETL Tools
• Familiarity with at least one SCM (Subversion or Perforce is a plus)

Strong preference for:

• Financial services industry experience with knowledge of the Financial Market, able to explain at least the life-cycle of one financial product (Options, FX, Bonds, Equity, etc.)
• Understanding of concepts around trading, pricing, liquidation, settlement
• Previous consulting background

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Financial/Software Services industry, with a preference for financial market information systems
• Knowledge of the Financial Market, capable of explaining at least the life-cycle of one financial product (Options, FX, Bonds, Equity, etc.)
• Understanding of concepts related to market data, trading, pricing, liquidation, settlement
• Bachelor’s Degree from a leading university or college in Economics, Computer Science, or related field
• Proven ability to engage with clients at a high level using a hands-on approach
• Understanding of multi-tier technical architectures and relational database structures
• Established relationships with senior managers in various organizations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels simultaneously
