Understanding of ERDs (Entity Relationship Diagrams).

Experience in methodology-based solution delivery and managing customers’ expectations.

Problem solving skills and ability to recognize long term solutions across multiple projects.

Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task.

Self-starter, able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Detailed knowledge of several of the following technologies :

1. Tomcat configuration and optimization
2. SOAP / XML and messaging software like MQ Series, Tibco, MSMQ, Sonic MQ and Open JMS
3. In depth knowledge of one of the following RDBMS : Oracle, MS SQL Server or Sybase
4. Java or C# programming
5. Windows and Unix (Solaris and Linux)
6. Knowledge of ETL Tools
7. Familiar with at least one SCM (Subversion or Perforce would be a plus)

Strong preference for :

1. Financial services industry experience with Knowledge on Financial Market, being able to explain in general at least the life-cycle of one financial product (Options, FX, Bonds, Equity, …)
2. Understanding of concepts around trading, pricing, liquidation, settlement.
3. Previous consulting background

Requirements :

1. Minimum of 8 years of Financial / Software Services industry background with financial market information systems preferred.
2. Knowledge on Financial Market, being able to explain in general at least the life-cycle of one financial product (Options, FX, Bonds, Equity, …)
3. Understanding of concepts around some of or all : market data, trading, pricing, liquidation, settlement.
4. Bachelor’s Degree from a leading university or college in Economics, Computer Science or the like.
5. Demonstrated ability to clients face at a high level using a hands-on approach.
6. Understanding of multi-tier technical architectures and relational database structures.
7. Fostered relationships with senior managers in large and small corporations.
8. Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Strong analytical skills.
10. Able to differentiate and work at strategic and tactical levels simultaneously.
