Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior C# Developer to design, develop, and optimize backend systems supporting health insurance providers in Brazil. You will build APIs, ensure reliability, and contribute to data modeling and performance improvements.

In an agile environment, you will translate business needs into technical tasks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help deliver robust software solutions that scale for complex healthcare operations.

Qualifications

• Solid experience developing applications with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Backend components for web applications.
• Experience with ORM tools for data access.
• Strong SQL knowledge and query optimization.
• Frontend basics: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of MVC and dependency injection patterns.
• Familiarity with Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban).
• Desirable: degree in IS, SE, CS or related field.
• Experience with Knockout, Node.js, Delphi, Oracle databases, or NHibernate is a plus.
• Knowledge of health insurance operations or ANS/TISS standards is desirable.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor C# - Sênior based in Brazil.

We are looking for a Senior C# Developer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize critical backend systems supporting health insurance providers. In this role, you will build and integrate APIs, improve application performance, and ensure the reliability and stability of essential business systems. You will contribute to database modeling, query optimization, and the resolution of complex technical issues. Working in an agile, collaborative environment, you will also help translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable development tasks. Accountabilities

• Backend Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem, with a focus on backend systems serving health insurance providers and self-managed healthcare plans.

• API Development and Integration: Build, integrate, and maintain REST and SOAP APIs to ensure reliable communication and data exchange between systems.

• Application Support and Troubleshooting: Investigate application failures, identify root causes, fix bugs, and maintain the stability and reliability of critical systems.

• Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve existing applications, optimize system performance, and enhance the end-user experience.

• Database Design and Management: Model data, create optimized SQL queries, and develop database structures aligned with evolving business requirements.

• Technical Requirements and Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders and development colleagues to define technical requirements for new features and system improvements.

• Task Breakdown and Agile Delivery: Translate requirements into smaller, clearly defined development tasks that support effective planning, prioritization, and execution within the team.

Requirements

• C# and .NET Experience: Solid professional experience developing applications with C# and the .NET ecosystem.

• Backend Web Development: Practical experience designing, building, and maintaining backend components for web applications.

• ORM Tools: Experience using object-relational mapping tools to manage data access and interactions with databases.

• SQL and Database Skills: Strong working knowledge of SQL, including writing queries and supporting database development and optimization.

• Frontend Technologies: Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.

• Software Architecture: Knowledge of the Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern and applications that use dependency injection.

• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development practices, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Education: A degree or ongoing studies in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field are desirable.

• Additional Technical Skills: Experience with Knockout or other frontend frameworks, Node.js, Delphi, Oracle databases, mobile development, or technologies such as Autofac, Castle Windsor, and NHibernate is an advantage.

• Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with health insurance operations, Brazilian regulatory requirements from the ANS, or the TISS healthcare information exchange standard is desirable.

• Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Ability to investigate complex technical issues, communicate effectively, collaborate across teams, and contribute to practical solutions in an agile environment.
