Infotree Global Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Developer with 6+ years in SAP Fiori and ABAP custom enhancement development. This role bridges our offshore India team with Americas operations, enabling 24-hour development cycles across time zones.

The position offers remote work across Latin America with occasional in-office collaboration opportunities near our offices in Argentina, Brazil or Costa Rica.

Formación

• 6+ years of hands-on SAP Fiori development and implementation
• 6+ years of SAP ABAP programming and custom code development
• Proven expertise in CDS view development including modification of standard views
• Deep experience with ABAP enhancement techniques such as User Exits, Customer Exits, BAPIs, BADIs
• Experience with distributed or offshore development teams across multiple time zones (preferred)
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile development (preferred)
• Strong understanding of SAP security concepts and authorization objects

Responsabilidades

Highly skilled senior SAP developers with extensive expertise in SAP Fiori and SAP ABAP custom enhancement development to augment our existing consulting development team. This role is critical in supporting our global development operations, serving as a bridge between our offshore India development team and Americas-based operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of 6+ years in custom SAP development, with deep technical expertise in both SAP Fiori application development and ABAP programming. You will be responsible for participating in daily development hand-offs with our India-based team, ensuring continuous progress on development initiatives across all time zones, and maintaining the momentum of critical SAP enhancement projects. This position offers the flexibility of remote work anywhere in Latin America, with a preference for candidates located near our offices in Argentina, Brazil, or Costa Rica for occasional in-office collaboration opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP Fiori Development: Design, develop, and implement custom SAP Fiori applications that enhance user experience and streamline business processes. Leverage SAP UI5 framework and OData services to create responsive and intuitive interfaces.
• CDS View Development: Perform advanced modification of copies of standard CDS (Core Data Services) views and design and create new custom CDS views to support complex reporting and analytical requirements. Ensure optimal performance and data modeling best practices.
• ABAP Custom Development: Design and develop sophisticated custom ABAP code including Function Modules, User Exits, BAPIs (Business Application Programming Interfaces), BADIs (Business Add-Ins), and ABAP Logic Extensions to meet specific business requirements.
• Enhancement and Modification: Modify copies of existing standard SAP objects including ABAP Function Modules, User Exits, BAPIs, BADIs, and other enhancement points while maintaining system integrity and adhering to SAP best practices.
• Global Team Collaboration: Participate in daily hand-off meetings with offshore India development team to ensure seamless transition of development tasks. Take over development responsibilities during Americas time zones and hand-off completed work back to India team at end of day to enable 24-hour development cycles.
• Code Quality and Standards: Ensure all custom developments follow SAP coding standards, best practices, and company guidelines. Conduct code reviews and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Testing and Debugging: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing for all custom developments. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with SAP technology trends, particularly in Fiori and S/4HANA development, and recommend innovative solutions to improve development processes and system performance.

Requirements Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related technical field
• Relevant SAP certifications in ABAP or Fiori development are highly preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in SAP Fiori custom application development and implementation
• Minimum 6 years of extensive experience in SAP ABAP programming and custom code development
• Proven expertise in CDS view development including modification of standard views and creation of custom views
• Deep experience with ABAP enhancement techniques including User Exits, Customer Exits, BAPIs, BADIs, and Business Transaction Events
• Strong background in SAP development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and support
• Experience working with distributed or offshore development teams across multiple time zones (preferred)
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA development and migration projects (preferred)
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile development practices (preferred)

Technical Skills:

• Expert-level proficiency in SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 framework
• Strong expertise in CDS views, AMDP (ABAP-Managed Database Procedures), and database optimization
• In-depth knowledge of SAP enhancement framework and modification techniques
• Proficiency with SAP Gateway and OData service development
• Experience with SAP Web IDE, Eclipse ADT (ABAP Development Tools), or SAP Business Application Studio
• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies and APIs
• Understanding of SAP security concepts and authorization objects.
