This position resides within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)) and provides direct support to the Office of Strategic Capital (OSC), reporting to the Director of Operations. The Office of Strategic Capital (OSC) serves as a crucial tool for expanding America's enduring competitive advantages. Last year, strong congressional support enabled the office to secure new authorities and appropriations to execute the OSC mission.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• This is a National Security Position designated as Top Secret-Sensitive Compartmented Information/Special-Sensitive. Incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret-SCI security clearance.
• Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service (see https://www.sss.gov/Home/Registration).
• Individuals tentatively selected for drug testing designated positions will be required to submit to urinalysis for illegal drugs prior to appointment and are subjected to random drug testing.
• Required to participate in the direct deposit program.
• The incumbent must adhere to DoD Standards of Conduct.
• This position requires you to submit a Financial Disclosure Form (OGE 450) upon appointment.
• This is a Financial Management Level 3 Certified position. IAW Public Law 112-81 and DoD Policy, the incumbent shall comply with the requirements of DoD FM Certification Program.
• Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
