Department Manager Job Description

The Department Manager is responsible for the overall sales, marketing, and after-sales service efforts of the PP Department. Primary responsibilities include developing plans and coordinating sales and marketing strategies to meet business objectives and achieve maximum results.

They continually evaluate marketing strategies and plans to adapt to changing market and competitive conditions. The manager directs, guides, and coordinates the efforts of the department to ensure the accomplishment of the company's and department’s overall business objectives.

The role also involves managing resources and activities related to the Pharma, Personal Care, and Home Care market segments, including pre-sales, import processes, inventory management, and price negotiations with suppliers.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (S1) in Chemistry, Pharmacist, or a related field
Experience
  • At least 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development
  • At least 5-6 years of experience managing a sales team with P&L accountability and a proven track record of achieving sales budgets
