WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Overall

• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation & project proposal through closure;
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget;
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management;
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency;
• Implement processes to ensure successful delivery;
• Identify critical delivery issues and address them with the team before customer exposure;
• Communicate team issues and concerns to the leadership team proactively.

Client ownership

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle;
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded;
• Conduct regular status meetings and provide detailed project updates to clients;
• Manage client feedback and address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.

Financial account management

• Develop and manage project estimates, budgets, ensuring financial goals are achieved;
• Monitor project financials, including expenses, revenue, and profitability;
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts for internal and client review;
• Manage team members' compensation;
• Monitor and ensure healthy project margins.

Delivery management

• Lead project teams in planning, execution, and delivery;
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with management and stakeholders;
• Utilize project management methodologies and best practices;
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues as they arise;
• Monitor client satisfaction with AgileEngine services and team;
• Manage resources and finances;
• Handle expectations and escalations;
• Implement technical excellence and best practices;
• Improve processes and remove bottlenecks.

Team management

• Oversee work of project team members, assign tasks, set deadlines;
• Foster a collaborative environment and promote growth;
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback;
• Establish efficient project management processes;
• Mentor and coach team members;
• Ensure team happiness through 1:1s, career development, and personal plans;
• Coordinate promotions and recruiting.

MUST HAVES

• At least 4 years in project/delivery management;
• Experience as a delivery manager;
• Proven experience managing projects from start to end, including pre-sales activities;
• Strong financial skills, managing budgets, negotiations, and reporting;
• Experience with external clients;
• Proficiency with project management tools;
• Excellent English communication and leadership skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Computer Science, or related field;
• Experience working with software developers, project managers, and account managers;
• Proven ability to prepare proposals and manage pre-sales;
• Highly organized with attention to detail;
