The Work Youll Do

Delivery Director of Professional Services – Brazil: establish priorities for the professional services team implementing projects in Brazil, manage client escalations and expectations, and handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy to maintain strong, trust-based client relationships. Youll work closely with Sales, Product, and regional and global leadership to guide post-sales implementations and engagements. The focus is on enabling rapid speed to execution by streamlining operational processes, leveraging automation, and fostering a culture of agility. This position requires a proactive approach to managing complex client situations, setting clear expectations, and navigating challenges effectively while driving revenue and profitability through optimized resource utilization and team development.

What you will do more specifically:

  • Lead successful implementations of Sovos solutions and act as Executive Sponsor for Brazilian Implementations
  • Act as a strategic advisor for Professional Services Leadership team, providing guidance on challenges unique to the Brazilian market
  • Partner with regional and global Professional Services Leaders to implement and adapt global service delivery methodologies while maintaining consistency with Sovos global standards
  • Monitor team and project performance and establish metrics to assess customer satisfaction, project health, and regional team efficiency
  • Collaborate with global counterparts to share best practices, improve cross-regional alignment, and foster innovation in service delivery
  • Cultivate a strong team culture by coaching, mentoring, and supporting the professional growth of Brazilian team members
What We Need From You
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in Professional Services, including 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably in the Brazilian market
  • Experience with Software solution implementations; Regulatory Tax Compliance / eInvoicing experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Sales Force and Cloud Coach
  • Fluency in both Portuguese and English (written and spoken) is required; Spanish proficiency is a plus
  • Proven experience managing technical and solutions consulting teams with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence
  • Ability to streamline repeatable processes and accelerate delivery of purchased solutions
  • Strong financial acumen, with a proven ability to drive revenue and margin delivery, optimize resource utilization, and P&L Management
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across functions and regions to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on driving results and innovation
  • Experience managing in a fast-paced, dynamic, and customer-focused environment
  • Ability to travel as needed to support clients and teams
  • While we are a remote organization and this person will work from their home office, we do ask that you are local to São Paulo city.
