Core Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing database systems and infrastructure to understand the scope and

requirements of the migration.

• Develop detailed migration plans, including timelines, resources, and risk assessments to

ensure a smooth transition.

• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading ETL processes to move data from

source to target systems.

• Implement necessary database schema changes and optimize performance during the

migration process.

• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security throughout the migration.
• Conduct comprehensive testing of migrated databases to ensure they meet functionality,

performance, and security standards.

• Identify and resolve any data discrepancies or issues that arise during or after the migration.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external vendors, to align migration strategies with business objectives.
• Provide regular updates and reports on migration progress, challenges, and resolutions to stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed documentation of migration processes, configurations, and any changes made to the database systems.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout the migration process.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for migrated databases to address any issues that may arise.
• Implement improvements and optimizations based on feedback and performance analysis post-migration

• Hands-on experienced with designing, moving and transforming data to / from Microsoft
• Hands-on experience integration technologies such as SQL Server Integration Services,

similar technologies.

• Mastery of relational SQL and NoSQL databases
• Mastery knowledge of Snowflake in both AWS and Azure clouds
• Experienced with data wrangling and preparation for use within PowerBI
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively

collaborate with multi-disciplinary groups and all organizational levels.

Education / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field and prior relevant experience.
