Jobtailor in Brazil is seeking a data scientist to develop and deploy analytical and predictive models in Python, collaborating with business teams to translate questions into solvable data problems.

You will ensure reproducibility, scalability, and clear communication of results, with preference for candidates holding a master’s in Data Science or related fields and experience with A/B testing and cloud environments.

Qualificações

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling.
• Solid foundation in statistics (hypothesis testing, distributions, regression).
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and propose solutions autonomously.
• Good communication to translate technical results for non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (GCP, AWS or Azure) is a plus.
• Experience with A/B experiments and causal inference.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Statistics/Math or related fields.
• Postgraduate degree or master’s in Data Science or related areas (preferred).

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling (pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels or similar).
• Solid foundation in statistics — hypothesis testing, distributions, regression, inference.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and propose solutions with autonomy.
• Good communication skills to translate technical results for non-technical audiences.
• Plus: Familiarity with cloud environments (GCP, AWS or Azure).
• Experience with A/B experiments and causal inference.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields.
• Postgraduate degree or master’s in Data Science or related areas (preferred).
