Job Summary:

Looking for a Senior Data Quality Assurance Engineer with strong expertise in UI & API Automation to ensure the reliability and accuracy of software applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with automation frameworks and a deep understanding of test automation, debugging, and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement test automation frameworks using Cucumber, Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured.
2. Perform UI & API testing, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
3. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software quality issues.
4. Work with SQL scripting to validate data integrity and accuracy.
5. Conduct automated and manual testing for web services (REST), handling JSON & XML data formats.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality gaps.
7. Lead test automation initiatives and drive best practices in QA.
8. Work in a cloud environment (AWS/GCP), ensuring smooth integration and deployment.
9. Take ownership of testing strategies, providing leadership within the team.

Required Qualifications:

1. 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on automation.
2. Hands-on experience with Cucumber, Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured.
3. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
4. Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and XML data formats.
5. Proficiency in SQL scripting for data validation and analysis.
6. Experience in test automation frameworks and rolling out automation initiatives.
7. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to take ownership and leadership in projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or a willingness to learn quickly.
2. Strong grasp of technical requirements and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
3. Immediate joiners preferred, or those with a short notice period (max 30 calendar days).
4. Willing to work in a hybrid environment from Sao Paulo, Brazil (3 days office and 2 days remote).
